On each subsection of the Total Film webpage, a large advertisement is placed under the masthead as well as one on the right side of the page on certain subsections. The logo for Total Film can also be found in the top left corner of the webpage in a white sans-serif font to contrast the black border. Product outlines

Product 1: The first cover will focus on a coming-of-age film and will feature a group of teens, it will be a long or medium shot so the group is seen as the main focal point. I'll be able to explore diversity, sexuality and more with a group- depict a modern society and teenager. I may, instead of focussing on a group, focus on one individual. The lighting will be middle-key.  The coverlines will appear along the sides of the cover and the bottom of the page.  The masthead will be place along the top of the cover and will be there consistently in order to create a house style. I'll use a sans-serif font for my coverlines. I'll use bright colours that stand out from the image to seem more youthful and fun. I will include some kind of strapline that either promotes the brand or the product or both. My second cover will be promoting a horror/thriller and I would like to do a close up or extreme close up of a face. The face will either be afraid and screaming, possibly defo...

Audio/Audio-visual content

Image
On the Empire website you can see how they use audio/audio-visual content through their use of trailers in order to promote the product. They use audio visual content such as the Sex Education trailer and the "exclusive clip" from Warrior as it is an effective tool of promotion as well as being a tool they cannot incorporate in their print magazines. The "exclusive clip" is used to lure in the audience and offer them information and content that other magazines cannot. It will also create a sense of trust within the audience as they believe that Empire is a reliable provider of never before seen content. Additionally, the clip will show part of the product that has not been released before, so you can expect the same costuming, lighting and sound that is consistent of the product. Furthermore, the Trailer used to promote Sex Education will show a preview of the programmes next season. It will depict the same characters, setting, sound, and all other aspects of mi...
