Product outlines
Product 1:
The first cover will focus on a coming-of-age film and will feature a group of teens, it will be a long or medium shot so the group is seen as the main focal point. I'll be able to explore diversity, sexuality and more with a group- depict a modern society and teenager.
I may, instead of focussing on a group, focus on one individual.
The lighting will be middle-key.
The coverlines will appear along the sides of the cover and the bottom of the page.
The masthead will be place along the top of the cover and will be there consistently in order to create a house style.
I'll use a sans-serif font for my coverlines.
I'll use bright colours that stand out from the image to seem more youthful and fun.
I will include some kind of strapline that either promotes the brand or the product or both.
My second cover will be promoting a horror/thriller and I would like to do a close up or extreme close up of a face. The face will either be afraid and screaming, possibly deformed or mutilated or abnormal in some way. Fitting with the genre.
Could focus on group and individual.
Facial expressions.
The lighting will be low-key.
The coverlines will be bold and stand out from the background image.
Sans-serif font for the coverlines.
Masthead at the top of the page.
I will include some kind of strapline that either promotes the brand or the product or both- will be included in every issue.
The contents page will link to one of the covers and the theme, such as colour palette will be reused in the contents page.
There will be a masthead at the top of the page. It will be smaller than the one on the cover.
There will be a main image that is off-centred. As well as some other images that will be placed either along the bottom or side.
